How Do I Configure My Dialer Settings?

Learn how to fill out the Trust Hub form, add your personal phone number, purchase phone numbers, customize power dialer settings.

Are you ready to set up your Dialer and get to calling those Prospects? Keep reading for our step-by-step guide and best practices.

Trust Hub Form

To ensure that your phone numbers don't get listed as Spam get started by filling out the Trust Hub Form. Complete this form by going to the Outreach tab -> Dialer Settings -> Trust Hub.

You should receive approval via an in-app message and an email within 48 hours of submitting the form.

Adding Phone Numbers

When it comes to making calls through Selling.com you can either connect your personal phone number, purchase phone number, or both.

To connect your personal phone number go to the Dialer Settings -> My Settings -> +Add Personal Phone. After you enter your phone number you'll get a call to that devise. Answer the call and enter the numbers you see on your screen. You should get a confirmation message in Selling.com when your personal phone is connected.

Purchasing additional phone numbers can be done in just a few clicks. Start by going to your Dialer Settings -> Team Settings. On the Team Settings page click the + Add Phone button. Next, you'll be presented with a pop up window where you will select the Owner of the new phone number and a Select Phone field where you can search by area code for the number you want.

Customize Your Power Dialer Settings

The last thing we will review in this article is how to customize your power dialer settings to fit your calling needs. Let's go to your Dialer Settings Page and select the last tab on the left - Power Dialer.

On the Power Dialer page I'd suggest your copy the settings I have in the screenshot below for maximum output:

Best Practices for Outbound Calling

Lastly, let's switch over to the My Settings Tab in your Dialer Settings. Here you can change a few settings to optimize your outbound calls.

  1. Select which devise you want to receive calls on. Any missed call you get from a Prospect returning your call can either go to your computer, phone, or both. Select the phone that makes most sense for your day-to-day routine.

  2. Call Timeout. I'd recommend leaving this at 30 seconds. This means the Power Dialer will ring for 30 seconds - if nobody answers your call with automatically be logged and the dialer will begin calling the next person.

  3. Phone Number Rotation. If you're making a high volume of calls we've found that it's best to have the dialer rotate phone numbers every call, with no phone number calling more then once every 2 minutes. So make sure you enter the number 1.

  4. Prospect Phones Prioritization. To have the best chances at speaking with your decision maker I'd recommend prioritizing calling mobile phone numbers. The recommended prioritization order would be Prospect Mobile Phone - Prospect Phone - Account Phone. To re-oder the options just drag and drop by clicking and holding down the grid next to each phone type.

Once your Trust Hub form has been approved, you've added your phone number(s) for calling and configured your Dialer settings you're ready to start making calls!
