Overview
INGENIOUS.BUILD empowers administrators to define, customize, and assign roles with precision, ensuring that employees have the right access and control to perform their duties effectively.
Prerequisites
You must be an Administrator to access an individual Employee's page to make the edits described in this article.
Process
Configuring Project Roles
Navigate to the Employees list page.
Click the three dots on the upper right of your screen, then click Project Roles.
You will see three default roles (Basic, Lead Project Manager, and Lead Project Executive). These roles can't be archived unlike the others.
You can create additional project roles as needed. Click on Add Role then add a role name.
Select what modules this role type can create or edit, then select what this role type can approve. If none of these are checked, they can not approve them.
Click Create.
Once created, you will now see the role, what they can create, and what they can approve.
Assigning a Role to an Employee
To assign a role to an employee, select the employee from the Employee list page, then click Edit Employee.
Under Account Information, you will see an option to assign a project role.
You can also assign an additional project role.
These additional roles will allow the Employee's project role to be changed within a Project Directory to any of the selected additional project roles by a Lead Project Manager or Executive.
In this field, you can select as many additional roles as necessary.
Click Save.
