Add a Client when Creating a Project

Choose to add your client to your project to collaborate with you from their own free Ingenious.BUILD account

External contacts can be invited to collaborate on-system in various areas of the platform including Bid Packages, Tasks, RFIs, Submittals and Documents. Inviting the external contact in these areas will all result in that contact receiving an email from the platform inviting them to create a free, OpenCA, INGENIOUS.BUILD account. Here is a breakdown of what happens when you invite an external contact to collaborate.

Add Client when Creating a Project

  1. Navigate to the Projects list

  2. Click Actions > Add New Project
    A pop-up menu will appear to select the contract status.

  3. Within the Client Recipient Name, click Add or invite client button and enter the client's email address.

4. Once the email address has been entered, choose to Send an Invite to the client. The INGENIOUS.BUILD platform will send them an email notification to sign up for free to use our Open CA platform.
