The IngeniousIO team is excited to share the progress on our dynamic and constantly improving platform! Below are the latest platform enhancements regarding new features, workflow improvements, feature developments, user-interface upgrades and bug fixes, that were added and/or addressed within the last three weeks.
Please take a moment to review the latest updates to the IngeniousIO platform (note: the following updates are applied to all workspaces unless otherwise indicated):
New Feature Release (👏 !!!):
Bid Package - Exports
Bid Leveling Sheets: you can now export your Bid Package’s Leveling Sheets for authorization from your clients.
Off-System Bidding: for circumstances where your vendors are not yet ready to use IngeniousIO, you can now export the ‘RFP for Off-System Bidders’ within the Export action on your bid packages. This formatted PDF allows your off-system bidders to respond to the RFP in the same structure that your on-system bidders are. This will save you time and energy from having to read through various proposals for the information you need and instead require your vendors to format their proposal exactly how you want it!
Kanban Board: allows users to view tasks in Standard View and Custom View. In Custom View, users are given the opportunity to create a custom list within the default Parent Lists. These Custom Lists can be edited and deleted.
Tasks Checklists: If a Task is in a status of 'Not Started' and checklist item is completed by anyone assigned to the task, the status will change to "In Progress" instead of complete unless the person completing the checklist created the task.
Feature Enhancements (👊 Niiiice):
Master Project Budget - Timeline: just like in other areas of the platform, we have added a Timeline functionality to your project budget. This new timeline function will track the following events that take place on your budgets:
which project code list & budget template was appended to budget, if no budget template was selected then the name of the Project Cost Code list will be shown
which budget template(s) were overwritten on budget
which cost codes were added manually
which cost codes were removed
which cost codes had a change in value and how much was the value changed per cost codes
*The aforementioned changes are applicable to Owner, Rep and GCIO workspaces only.*
We have merged the quoted items and Schedule of Values (SoVs) tabs on the contract. This will allow you to add SoVs at will to any quoted item during contract creation. The functionality of SoVs still remains the same as before.
Change Orders Requests
Within the change order request section of change orders there is now an ability to send your vendors a change order request on-system that will enable your vendors to provide pricing at your request for change orders.
Also, we have included the ability for your company to receive change order requests from your client on-system in the same manner.
My Change Orders
You now have the ability to add your vendor’s change orders to your ‘My Change Order’ along with an ability to markup the change order and add these costs to your budget.

Workflow Enhancements (🙌 Yay Efficiency!):
Discussions in Bid Packages - A discussion with Vendors in Bid Packages will carry over and maintain previous communication on the Project Contract module. This makes messaging with the vendor more efficient and streamlined!
Several updates have been made to correct areas of bugs/issues in the platform. Some of these areas include the following contract details, viewing Tasks by project, meeting minute items and discussions, errors in invoicing and pay apps, visual alignments on screens, invoice payment request pdfs.
Many of these changes were based on your direct feedback as our valued customer. So keep letting us know what you think!
