The IngeniousIO team is excited to share the progress on our dynamic and constantly improving platform! Below are the latest platform enhancements regarding new features, workflow improvements, feature developments, user-interface upgrades and bug fixes, that were added and/or addressed within the last two weeks.
Please take a moment to review the latest updates to the IngeniousIO platform (note: the following updates are applied to all workspaces unless otherwise indicated):
New Feature Release (👏 Niiiice !!!):
Budget/ACR - Reallocate Uncommitted Funds - Users now have the ability to clearly identify budget savings created on behalf of their clients by reallocating Uncommitted Funds on the Budget / ACR to a new Budget category titled “Anticipated Savings.” This will allow users to clearly differentiate between actual budget savings and uncommitted funds that are likely to be used at a later stage in the project! Additionally, this will remove the values from the Total Anticipated section of the Budget/ACR.
Below are the steps to reallocate uncommitted funds:
Toggle “Anticipated Savings” to “On” within the Budget / ACR section of Project Settings.
Select the “Wallet” Icon on a Budget line containing Unallocated Funds.
Specify the amount or percentage of unallocated funds you would like to reallocate to the “Anticipated Savings” column of the Master Project Budget / ACR.
Reallocated funds should now appear in Column O of the Master Project Budget / ACR and reduce the “Total Anticipated Cost” of the project accordingly.
To reallocate funds back into the Unallocated Funds column and add them back into your “Total Anticipated Cost” simply re-select the “Wallet” icon and specify an amount or percentage to move back into the Unallocated Funds column.
Several updates have been made to correct areas of bugs/issues in the platform. Some of these areas include the following: Pay Applications and Invoices, Contracts, Documents, Meeting Minutes, Retention Rules, Budget Exports, Contacts, Change Orders, Bid Clarifications.
