1) To begin configuring your list and templates for tasks, navigate to List & Templates through the left-hand navigation. Once you are within List & Templates, scroll to the bottom and click on "View Task Templates.โ€

2) From this screen, there will be two tabs at the top of the screen you can select from:

Task Templates - Individual tasks that will serve as templates

Task Lists - A list of individual tasks that can be comprised of existing task templates or task templates that are created from scratch

Within each of these sections, the user is presented with two options:

Company Templates/Lists - These are configured by the workspace admin and can be utilized by ALL users within the workspace. Non-admin users cannot create or edit Company Templates/Lists

My Templates/Lists - These are configured by you and are only visible to you. This allows you to manage your own set of Task List & Templates that can be used on a project

3) For Task Templates, you can click the "Create New Template" button and begin configuring a task template. The task template includes the task name, priority, description, checklist items, tags, whether the task is locked or unlocked, and even files/attachments.

For Task Lists, you will follow a similar workflow by clicking the "Create New List" button and start by entering the Task List name and description. Once that has been configured, begin adding tasks to your task list by clicking the "Create New Task" button. From here you will select whether you would like to select an already existing task template, found in either my templates or company templates, or you will be able to create a task from scratch.

Additional Features

Some of the other awesome features within Tasks List & Templates include the ability to filter and search on both the list and template views and the ability to duplicate both lists and templates.

Once you have configured your Lists or Templates to your liking, you may now navigate to a project and begin adding tasks to the project! Within the tasks list view within a project, select the "Actions" dropdown and click on Add via Task Template. This will open up a modal where you will be able to select from Task Lists or Templates that you created (My) or were created by your workspace admin (Company). Simply use the multi-select boxes to select which tasks you would like to add to the project, press the "add" button and all selected tasks will be added to your project.

From here you can utilize the filters to filter on tasks that were created from a template so they can easily be found and edited.
