We use an example of the Xiaomi Mi Band to show you how to connect a device that is not yet directly supported on the platform via either Apple Health or Google Fit apps.

Connecting via Apple Health.

Step 1: Open the Mi Fit app on your iPhone(download it from the store if needed) and create or log into your existing account.

Step 2: Connect your Xiaomi device to the Mi Fit app.

Step 3: Go to the Sources tab on your Apple Health app and ensure you've given all the permissions to the Mi Fit app.

Make sure Mi Fit has access to your data and is on top of your sources list:

Go to: Settings → Health → Data Access & Devices → Mi Fit → Turn On All.

Next, please open: Health app → Browse → Activity → Steps → Data Sources & Access

For each of the metrics you are tracking, make sure to go to the specific metric, for example, steps, scroll down to Data Sources & Access, scroll all the way down to Data Sources, and make sure MiFit is on top.

Connecting via Google Fit app (This method is advised for Android phones only)
