What is the memory feature and what is it for?
Inner AI's memory feature allows the AI to remember important information about you throughout conversations. This way, you don't have to repeat preferences or personal details every time you chat with it. As a result, responses become more personalized and aligned with your profile.
How to access memory settings
To start, click on your profile picture in the bottom left corner of the screen and select "Account Settings." On the new page, in the top left corner, you will see the "Chat Settings" section, where you can check if the feature is active and how many memories have already been saved.
How to activate and create your first memories
With the feature active, return to the chat and share information you want the AI to remember. The AI automatically identifies that this is relevant and saves the information, without you needing to do anything other than mention it.
Managing your saved memories
To view and edit your memories, go back to the settings and click "Manage." There, you will see all saved information. By clicking on the three dots at the top of the list, you can delete all memories at once.
Temporarily disabling a specific memory
Each memory has its own three dots with the "Disable" option. This keeps the information saved but inactive. Disabled memories go to a separate section and can be reactivated at any time.
Permanently deleting memories
You can also permanently delete a specific memory. Just click "Delete" on the three dots of the desired memory. This action is irreversible, and the AI will only remember the information again if you mention it.
Controlling when the feature is active
You can completely turn off the memory feature in the chat settings. When deactivated, the AI does not access any saved information. If you ask about your preferences with memory turned off, it will say it doesn't know. To return to personalized mode, simply reactivate the feature.
