Quests are the tasks you give ambassadors to promote your events, improve engagement to posts, follow you on social media & many more - the options unlimited!

Step 1: Create a Quest

To get started, navigate to Innercrowd > Quests and click Create Quest. This will redirect you to an overview of quest templates. You can either create a quest from scratch by clicking Create in the General Quest section at the top of the page or use a template by clicking Create in the table.

Are you just getting started with your ambassador campaign?

We recommend starting with two quests to get your ambassadors onboard: Follow us on all channels & Join the WhatsApp community. These quest templates ar both available in the overview.

Step 2: Quest Information

You can customize the title and description of the quest, which will appear in the ambassador app. Make sure to clearly describe the quest in the title and provide any additional details in the description. You can also select an icon that fits the quest, add a URL, and include a tag.

Some tips:

  • Do ambassadors need to share content on their socials? Add a URL to a folder with the necessary content so they can easily download it to their phones. We recommend using WeTransfer Collect as it’s the easiest option for mobile downloads.

  • Use tags like TikTok users for ambassadors who are active on TikTok and have significant reach. Apply the same tag to quests related to TikTok content to achieve the best results, as engagement on TikTok often differs from platforms like Instagram.

  • In the description, clearly outline what ambassadors need to do to complete the quest and specify any restrictions or actions that are not allowed.

  • For quests involving sharing something on Instagram story, always remind ambassadors to include their personal shop link as a URL-sticker.

Step 3: Channels

Quests can include multiple channels for completion, such as following your social media pages or sharing announcements on various platforms. Channels represent the specific pages to follow or platforms to share content on. Ambassadors must provide proof for each channel through their ambassador app.

This feature is enabled by default. To create a quest with channels click on the Add Channel button and a pop-up will appear to configure the channel:

  • Channel Name: Choose the social media channel. If it’s not listed, select "Other" and enter the name in the Custom Channel Name field.

  • Reward Points: Assign a small number of points, as this is only part of the quest. Unsure how many points to award? Contact your account manager for advice.

  • Instruction: Provide clear, channel-specific instructions (e.g., "Add your personal shop link as a URL sticker for Instagram Stories") and explain how proof should be submitted.

  • Automated AI Review: This feature automatically reviews quests based on the quest description and channel instructions. Refer to this article for more details.

Not using channels for your quest?
Turn off the Specify Media Channels slider. After doing so, complete the Reward Points field and give clear instructions on how ambassadors should submit proof.

Step 4: Availability

You can decide if a quest has a maximum availability, this determines how many times a quest can be completed in total. Each ambassador can complete a quest only on time so this means not all your ambassadors can complete the quest when you decide to use a maximum availability.

By default, unlimited availability is turned on. If you want to set a maximum availability, turn off the Max total completions slider and type in how many times the quest can be completed in total.

Step 5: Schedule & Notification

You can schedule the quest by selecting a start date, setting an end date for when ambassadors can sell tickets, and choosing whether to notify ambassadors of the quest start date. Notifications can be sent via email, WhatsApp, or not at all.

Step 6: Publish Notification

In the final step, review the information from all previous steps. Make any necessary changes in the overview. Once everything is ready, click Publish!

Succes! You've created a general quest.
