How to use the AI Product Editor?

How to import your Shopify products into Smartli's AI Product Editor and generate SEO-optimized descriptions for them.

Smartli's AI Product Editor generates SEO-optimized product descriptions from the product details you already have in your store.

1. Open the AI Product Editor

From the left-hand menu of your dashboard, select AI Product Editor.

2. Import products from your store

  1. Click Import products from store.

  2. Follow the prompts to connect your store.

  3. Select the products you want to import.

  4. Wait a few seconds for them to load into the editor.

3. Review the product details

Each imported product shows a set of fields the AI will write from:

  • Product name

  • Product type

  • Vendor

  • Keywords

Check these and correct anything inaccurate. The description is only as good as the details it is generated from, so the Keywords field is worth the most attention.

4. Generate the description

Click Generate Description for the product you want. The AI writes an SEO-friendly description from the details above.

5. Edit it to match your brand

Read the generated description and adjust it so it sounds like you and describes the product accurately. If it reads too much like AI output, run it through the AI Content Humanizer.

6. Save and export

Click Save to store your changes, then export the updated product information back to your store, or download it for use elsewhere.
