How to perform mass actions on your inbox messages

Updated over a week ago

You can select multiple inbox messages and simultaneously apply an action to all of them. This enables you to quickly action multiple messages, such as marking multiple messages as reviewed at the same time.

📌 Note: This setting is NOT enabled by default. Your TELUS Collaborative Health Record (CHR) administrator must enable it for individual users or for the entire accounts. To enable the setting, go to Settings > Account > Edit the desired account or user > Permissions > Settings Permissions > Inbox Mass Actions. For more information see, Modifying a user's permissions.

⚠️ Important: All inbox mass actions are irreversible. Once performed, you can't reverse a mass action.

Steps

1. From the main menu, click Inbox.

2. In the top-right corner, click the mass actions icon.

Checkboxes appear next to all messages and the inbox label.

3. Click the checkboxes for the desired messages. The mass actions bar appears at the bottom of the window.

The mass action bar shows the number of items selected and how many items from the selected can be reviewed by you.

💡 Tip: You can select all messages in a specific inbox by clicking the checkbox next to the person's name in the inbox.
