Changing your password
Updated over a week ago

Access to your TELUS Collaborative Health Record (CHR) account is controlled by a password. You may also be asked to authenticate certain actions within the CHR, such as changing some settings. You can change your password at any time. Your account settings may also require that you change your password at a regular interval; if so, you will be prompted to change it. We recommend that you change your password regularly for security purposes.

📌 Note: If you forgot your password, see Resetting your password. If you are locked out of your account because of failed login attempts, contact your CHR administrator in your clinic, who can unlock your account for you (see Unlocking a user's account).

Steps

  1. From the main menu, click Settings > Security > User.
💡 Tip: Alternatively, at the top of the main menu, click your avatar image > Security.

  2. Under Change Password, type your new password in the Password and Confirm Password fields.
📌 Note: The new password must contain at least 8 characters and be one that you never used before.

  3. Click Save. An authentication window appears.

  4. In the Current Password field, type your current password.

  5. Click Submit.

You will receive a password change notification email.
