Customizing what vitals and measurements entry columns display in encounters
Updated over a week ago

When you record a patient's vitals and measurements in the Examination area of an encounter, you can customize what entry field columns display. For example, you can choose to show or hide the O2 column. This allows you to simplify the encounter window, so only the information you want is displayed.

Steps

1. Start an encounter for a patient. See Starting an encounter.

💡 Tip: If you're not in the process of recording encounter notes for a real patient, use a test patient.

2. In the top right of the Examination area, click the gear icon.

3. In the list of columns that appears, click to highlight (display) or un-highlight (hide) the columns you want. For more information, see Displaying a patient's previous vitals and measurements in encounters.

💡 Tip: If you want the option to save, delete or edit a row of vitals and measurements, make sure the Actions column is selected.
