Improvements

1. Removing yourself or other users from message threads

When you send a message to a colleague you now have the option to remove yourself from any future conversations either immediately or at a later stage. This is particularly useful when sending a task to a group of front staff members where you do not need to know how it gets dealt with afterwards. See Creating and sending messages to users and Unsubscribing from conversations for more details on how to unsubscribe from a message.

Also, when you send messages to a group of users, you can now remove anyone at any stage from the message threads. This means that the removed user does not receive any alerts about new message threads. See Removing others from inbox messages.

Bug Fixes

Below is a list of bugs we have identified and fixed in this release. For more information, contact our TELUS Health support team.

  • Previously, when emailing a PDF and using a message template with instant variables configured, the variables did not appear in the message. This has been fixed.

  • We fixed a few design issues:

    • When signing an encounter without a signature set up in your account, the Action required message is now correct.

    • When creating a prescription without any frequent medications saved to your account, a correct alert message now appears when selecting my frequents.

    • When creating a prescription for a patient who has not previously had medications saved, a correct alert message now appears when selecting this patient’s medications

    • You can now edit or delete patient data alerts since all editing options are no longer cut off.

What's new in CHR Help

Here’s what we recently added to the CHR help (help.inputhealth.com):

Scheduled time of update: Evening of September 16, 2021

No preparation is required by site users in advance of the update. All CHR update activities are managed by InputHealth via a zero-downtime rolling deployment in the CHR’s cloud infrastructure, which allows the system to operate without interruption of service during updates.

No data migration will be required as part of this update.
