How to reply to specific messages in instant chat

📌 Note: To get instant chat for your clinic, contact your TELUS CHR support team.

You can easily add inline replies to specific messages in a conversation. This is also very helpful when you want to reply to a specific message in group conversations.

Steps

1. From the main menu, click Chat and search for or click a contact's name to access the desired conversation.

2. Click the message to reply to and select Reply.

💡 Tips:

  • When you click Reply, the chat window indicates that you are replying to a message.

  • To cancel a reply, click x in the inline reply notification.

3. Type your reply and press the Enter key on your keyboard. Your inline reply is sent and also references the message you replied to; this helps you to keep track of the conversation flow.
