Improvements

Default notification method for new patients is email only

To help avoid SMS message overages, when you add a new patient to the CHR, the default Notification method is now set to Email Only instead of Email and SMS.

📌Note: the default method of notification will not change for existing patients already in the CHR.

Addition of 12 hour timeout duration option

Within Security settings, we added a 12 hour option to the existing list of timeout durations for when users will automatically be logged out of their account. For more information, see CHR security settings and Setting your personal timeout duration.

PEI billing: fee updates

For PEI, we made fee updates for the 2022-2023 tariff amounts and increased the weekend and holiday premiums.

Fixes

Below is a list of bugs we identified and fixed. For more information, contact our TELUS Health support team.

  • When you unlock an encounter and add another diagnosis, the toggle to automatically add the diagnosis to the patient’s medical history is now available.

  • Miscellaneous user interface improvements in the Settings pages.

  • An error no longer appears when the Inbox is sorted by sender and there is a message in the inbox from Automated System.

  • When using Cases, clicking the Link Encounter button will now display a list of the patient’s encounters.
