1. What is the runtime of GO 3S?

The following data was measured while shooting in Video Mode at 1080P@30fps, at 25°C (77°F), with Wi-Fi off and the screen off:

Status

Runtime

Camera outside the Action Pod

Approximately 38 minutes

Camera in the Action Pod

Approximately 140 minutes

Note: Runtime may vary depending on environmental factors such as shooting temperature.

2. What is the battery capacity and charging time of GO 3S?

Battery Capacity:

• Camera: 310mAh

• Action Pod: 1270mAh

Charging time:

• Camera: about 35 minutes

• Action Pod (using 5V2A adapter): about 65 minutes

3. What is the waterproof level and depth of GO 3S?

• Camera: IPX8, up to 33ft (10m) with Lens Guard installed

• Camera in the Action Pod with the Dive Case: up to 197ft (60m)

Note: The Action Pod is splash-proof. It cannot be used underwater without the dive case.

4. Are there any underwater use precautions for GO 3S?

• Before using GO 3S in water, make sure the included Lens Guard is screwed on tightly. GO 3S is not waterproof without the Lens Guard.

• Dry the camera completely before placing it back in the Action Pod.

Note: The Action Pod is IPX4 water-resistant with GO 3S placed in it, but should not be used underwater.

5. Can GO 3S be connected to external microphones?

Sorry, GO 3S does not support connecting to external microphones.

6. Are there any precautions I should take when using the GO 3S Lens Guard?

Please make sure it is screwed on tightly when using the camera. Otherwise, the waterproofness, stabilization, and FOV of GO 3S will be affected.

7. How can I update GO 3S's firmware?

Make sure the GO 3S camera and Action Pod are at least 30% charged. You can update the firmware via the Insta360 app or your computer.

• Insta360 app: Connect the camera to the Insta360 App which will automatically check for firmware updates and display an on-screen prompt to update.

• Computer: Connect the camera to your computer and copy the firmware to the root directory of the GO 3S camera folder. Then disconnect the camera and turn it on to perform the firmware update.

Note: Do not change the name of the firmware file. The filename is Insta360GO3FW.pkg. File names like Insta360GO3FW(1).pkg or Insta360GO3FW(2).pkg will not work.
