1. Can GO 3S be used while charging?

Yes.

2. How do I use Gesture Control?

To enable gesture control, swipe down on the screen, find the ✋ icon, and select "Gesture Control". This feature can recognize gestures from 2 to 3.9ft (0.4 - 1.2m), as long as your face is visible and unobstructed.

• Use ✌️ to take a photo.

• Use ✋ to start a video.

3. Why is footage viewed on the Action Pod blurry or lower quality than the original footage?

Preview footage shown on the Action Pod is compressed to increase the viewing speed. The actual recorded footage will be based on your shooting parameters.

4. How do I cancel a recording?

Go to "Settings">"General", and toggle on "Long press to cancel shooting".

While shooting, press and hold the shutter button for 2-3 seconds to cancel the recording. The camera will not save this footage.

5. Is it normal for GO 3S to heat up while recording?

With its small size and strong performance chip, GO 3S consumes a lot of power during recording. The small size also means there is a relatively small heat dissipation area. It is normal for the device to heat up after recording for a significant time.

In addition, using GO 3S in high-temperature, humid, or enclosed environments will cause the camera to overheat faster. Using it in a well-ventilated environment and avoiding direct sunlight can slow down overheating.

Note: Insta360 cameras have a built-in overheating protection system. When the temperature gets too high, there will be an overheating alert and the camera will automatically stop recording. If the camera gets too hot, you can put it aside for a few minutes to cool down and then start recording again.

6. Why does GO 3S footage shot in low-light conditions look noisy?

When shooting in low-light environments, the camera automatically increases the ISO to capture more light, which can result in noise. To reduce this noise and achieve a clearer image, you can try manually lowering the ISO or extending the shutter speed. Additionally, exporting your footage using the latest version of the Insta360 app or Insta360 Studio can also help reduce noise.
