Once your 501(c)3 application has been submitted, the IRS will start communicating directly with you and they will be sending YOU, your approval letter by MAIL, not us. For more information about the approval process, please visit Module 7, You're Tax-Exempt.

From date of submission, typical approval times range from 4-6 weeks for Express applications (1023 EZ) and 3-6 months for Enterprise applications (Long Form 1023)

Keep your eyes on your mailbox and you can also check for online approvals on the IRS website here: https://apps.irs.gov/app/eos/ .

Please note, this site does not track the status of your application, so if you do not pop up online yet, don't worry! It simply means you're still in the approval process and you may even receive your letter in the mail before it appears online as the IRS also experiences technology delays with uploading letters to the site.
