I was wondering if we could put my account on hold for the next 6 months?

There isn't currently an option to put accounts on hold. The work around is that you could remove enough images/galleries to get your usage under 3GB. You could then change your subscription to the Free plan that doesn't have a monthly fee. The Free plan will charge a commission on all orders but the account won't be charged a monthly subscription fee.
