Making a group reservation

When you make a reservation for a group, you handle the reservation and payment for all guests—it's not possible to split the cost of a booking amongst multiple guest accounts.

If you’re making a reservation and one of your guests hasn’t created a Staybnb account yet, you can still pay. We’ll email the guest and guide them in both creating an account and accepting your reservation.

Note that if you booked using a credit card, you may see a pre-authorisation hold on your card while this process occurs.

Once a group reservation is made, both you and the guests join the message thread with the host so you all receive notifications. Note: Only you, and not your additional guests, can message Hosts through your message thread (everyone will receive the notifications, though).
