Pre-populating data on fields is a great way to streamline data from a single form. This saves time in creating a different form for each instance.

Here are a few instances:

  1. You may want to track sources by pre-populating the source on the form which is placed at different places on your website, or different websites.

  2. You may want to create a list of leads that were at an open house, so you prepopulate a keyword to a field which then adds a tag with the same keyword, which is used as the filter to create the list.

  3. You may want to share a referral form with all of your agents, with their names prepopulated, so clients don't need to select the agent name.

Here's how you can pre-populate different fields

  1. Log into your InterFace account, click on the Form Builder and edit the form you wish to set up the prepopulation for.

  2. Click on Settings in the top bar and scroll to the General Dynamic Link section:

  3. In the Select Form field, select the field(s) you wish to prepopulate. And in the "Enter Value" field, type in the data to pre-populate. In this screenshot, we are prepopulating Source with SOI:

  4. Click on Add Parameter.

  5. You can view the selected parameters list (which can be edited or deleted).

  6. You can also see the option to copy the generated link.

  7. Check the URL in a separate tab to ensure the field is getting prepopulated.

Tip: You can keep pre-populated fields "hidden" so they are not visible to the viewer filling the form. To hide fields, go to the form editor and edit the field to Hide it.
