We are to happy to introduce 2-Factor Authentication (2FA) to our platform. With 2FA, your data and information are given an extra security. To help you to enable this feature, we have prepared a step-by-step guide:
1. Access Your Dashboard
Start by opening the Interlir platform and navigate to your dashboard. This is where you'll begin the process of enabling 2FA.
2. Select Your Company Account
Look to the upper right corner of your screen, and you'll see your company account. Click on it to see a drop-down menu.
3. Access Your Account Settings
From the drop-down menu, select "My Account." This will automatically take you to your account settings.
4. Enable 2-Factor Authentication
Within your account settings, find the section "Security and Access Preferences." Here, you'll see the option to enable 2FA. Click on it.
5. Use Google Authenticator
To implement 2FA, you'll need a Google Authenticator app. Open the app, and it will generate a code.
6. Enter the Code
Return to your InterLIR account settings and enter the code generated by the Google Authenticator app. After entering the code, press "Send."
7. Log into Your Account
With 2FA enabled, you'll need to use the Authenticator app every time you log in. Enter the code generated by the app when prompted and click "Send."
8. Verification
Upon entering the code, you'll be asked to verify your identity. Click "Continue" to proceed.
9. You're All Set!
Congratulations, you've successfully enabled 2-Factor Authentication.
