When you use Rise.ai, there are two important relationships to understand:

  1. You as a Rise.ai User


    You are a user of Rise.ai’s services. We collect and process your information (your name, email, store details) to provide you with our platform. In this relationship, Rise.ai acts as a data controller of your information.

  2. You as a Merchant with Customers


    You are a data controller for your customers’ information. Rise.ai processes your customers’ data on your behalf as a data processor. We only handle your customers’ data according to your instructions and our agreement with you.


How Rise.ai Complies with Privacy Regulations

When you use Rise.ai, we process your customers’ information on your behalf, in accordance with our Data Processing Addendum.

We protect your data and your customers’ data through:

  • Technical safeguards: Encrypted cloud storage with Amazon AWS, secure data transmission protocols, access controls and authentication measures

  • Organizational safeguards: Staff confidentiality obligations, regular security reviews and updates, incident response procedures

  • Data processing controls: Processing data only as instructed by you, limiting data access to authorized personnel only, implementing measures to prevent unauthorized access or loss.

Your Rights as a Rise.ai User

As a user of Rise.ai, you have comprehensive rights over your personal data.
