How to transfer group of wine from one storage to another?

Need to move multiple bottles to a different storage location? It’s simple to do in just a few steps.

How to Transfer a Group of Wines from One Storage to Another

On iPhone and iPad:

  1. Go to the Collection page.

  2. Tap the checkbox list icon in the top right corner to activate multi-select.

  3. Tap on all the wines you want to transfer.

  4. Tap Edit to access the Storage field.

  5. Choose the new Storage location.

  6. Tap Save to complete the transfer.

On the Desktop Site:

  1. Go to the Collection page.

  2. Look for the circle to the left of each wine and tap on the ones you want to transfer.

  3. Tap Edit to access the Storage field.

  4. Choose the new Storage location.

  5. Tap Save to complete the transfer.

Note: This will wipe any VinLocate locations associated with the wines, so be sure to update their locations if needed.

To Transfer All Wines in a Storage:

If you want to move every wine from a particular storage location:

On iPhone and iPad:

  1. Go to the Homepage and tap on the specific Storage you want to empty.

  2. Tap the 3 horizontal dots in the top right corner.

  3. Tap the red Delete option.

  4. You’ll be prompted to transfer the bottles to a new location. Caution: If you delete the storage without transferring the bottles, the action cannot be undone, and the wines will be lost from your collection.

On the Desktop Site:

  1. Go to the left menu bar and select Storage.

  2. Tap on the specific Storage you want to empty.

  3. In the top right corner, click More and select Delete Storage in red.

  4. You’ll be prompted to transfer the bottles to a new location. Caution: If you delete the storage without transferring the bottles, the action cannot be undone, and the wines will be lost from your collection.

This method is especially useful if you’re reorganizing or consolidating storage spaces.
