The INVOX script or DNI (Dynamic Number Insertion) is a line of code used in call tracking to automatically assign and display unique phone numbers to each visitor of a website. This technology allows for efficient monitoring of traffic sources and user behavior on the site, ensuring precise attribution of phone calls to specific marketing campaigns.
The INVOX script is unique for each INVOX account and must be added to the site either through Google Tag Manager or directly in the site’s header.
To copy the INVOX script, go to Setup -» Accounts -» List
Next to the INVOX account, on the right side, in the “Tracking code” column, click the “Show” button to display the full script.
Make sure you have correctly copied the entire script before adding it to the site. The INVOX service will not function properly if the script is not correctly and completely added to the site.
