A Company Tag is a flexible way to categorize and segment your reporting. You can think of it as a custom label that helps you structure insights in the way that makes the most sense for your business, whether that’s by brand, client, region, or any other internal logic you use.

Company Tags are useful when your domains can be placed in multiple segments or areas (eg, industries, company size, prioritization, etc). By tagging each company with a relevant label, you can easily filter and analyze your performance data across different segments.

How does it work?

Users can create Company Tags under Seat Preferences, from a specific Company Card, or from Website Activity. The tags are free-text labels for customization.

Create a company tag under Seat Preferences

Create company tags from seat preferences by clicking on the following:

  • Settings

  • Seat Preferences

  • Company Tags

  • New Tag

  • Add Tag name

  • Confirm

Create a company tag from a specific company card

When should you use Company Tags?

  • To align with your internal structure - When your reporting needs to match departments, regions, or teams.

  • To simplify analysis - When you want to quickly filter or group results without creating separate accounts or complex setups.
