Creating a geo audience is straightforward. You search for locations using Google Maps, add them one by one, and save the audience for use in campaigns.

Before you start. Make sure you know which locations you want to target. Locations must be added manually, one at a time.

Set up and build your geo audience by following this guide:

  1. Open the Advertising menu and click Geo

  2. Click Create First Audience or New Audience

  3. Search and select one or more locations

  4. Set the desired radius around each location

  5. Click Save to Audience

  6. Give the audience a name

    1. Choose a clear and descriptive name so it’s easy to find later.

  7. Click Save and proceed

  8. Click Go to audience

Your Geo audience is now ready to use.

Tips for structuring geo audiences

  • Group locations by purpose (e.g. stores, competitors, events)

  • Avoid mixing unrelated locations in the same audience

  • Use clear naming to simplify reporting and optimization
