Network configuration - Industrial part

Prerequisite: This feature is reserved for users with an administrator or maintenance role.

Start by accessing the network configuration of the INDUS part by clicking on the Configuration menu, then Network Configuration :

You will be redirected to the following configuration page :

Note: If the Indabox has already been configured, the form will be pre-filled with the existing data. A box is available at the top of the page to display the current network configuration.

The first field allows you to select the network configuration mode you want:

  • Static IP

  • DHCP

Static IP Network Configuration

In "Static IP" mode, you must specify:

  • The desired IP address

  • The subnet mask

    Note : Make sure to specifiy a valid subnet mask. For instance : 255.255.255.0

  • The default gateway

Optionally, you can assign an additional IP address by checking the "Additional IP address" box and then entering the desired IP address and its corresponding subnet mask :

DHCP Network Configuration

You can also select a DHCP configuration :

Configure a DNS Server

If a DNS server is available, you can check the corresponding box to enter its values.

Save the entered values. The changes are made and applied directly to the Indabox.

Note : After each network configuration change, the Indabox will restart automatically. Please wait until the restart process is complete.

Note : If the IP address is changed, close the web interface window, and then access the interface again using the new IP address.
