Prerequisite : This feature is reserved for administrators.
To access the configuration for sending data to the AWS cloud, you must click on the Configuration menu, then General Configuration :
You will access the configuration page for sending data to the cloud.
Start by entering your site name.
Next, select the timestamping mode to apply to the data. Two modes are available :
Box Cloud : The timestamp is set when the data is received by our cloud system.
Indaba : The timestamp is set when the data is written to the Indaba database.
Then, select "IO-base" as the destination for sending industrial data. To do this, use the dropdown list highlighted below :
A "Cloud" section appears.
Start by entering :
your customer name
the IO-base database where the data should be sent
Next, authentication is required to communicate with IO-base. To do this, two methods are available:
DAP (device access proxy)
M2M (OpenID)
DAP Authentication Method
Select "Device Authentication Proxy (DAP)" from the "Authentication Method" dropdown list. Then, enter the requested DAP API key (contact your administrator if you do not have it).
Note : An eye icon is available to allow you to check the accuracy of the entered key.
M2M Authentication Method
In the "Authentication Method" dropdown list, select "OpenID (M2M)":
Enter the "Client ID" and "Client Secret" provided by support.
Once this information is entered, click "Save".
