Using the reset button

Updated over 2 months ago

Your Indabox Pro-S has a "Reset" button, which allows you to reset your equipment if needed.

This reset function can be accessed by pressing a button on the front panel of the Indabox using a pointed object :

Depending on how long the button is pressed, different operations are triggered.

Press duration and associated operations

Pressing between 0 and 5 seconds

If you keep the button pressed for 0 to 5 seconds, nothing will happen when it is released. The system remains unchanged; no operation is triggered.

Pressing between 5 and 20 seconds

If you keep the button pressed for 5 to 20 seconds, the services will stop and the LEDs will flash. When the button is released, the IP addresses are reset to their default values:

  • OT side: 192.168.1.222

  • IT side: 192.168.1.223

Pressing for 20 seconds or more

If you keep the button pressed for 20 seconds or more, the LEDs will light up and stay solid. When the button is released, the entire configuration of the IndaBox is reset (factory reset), and the device reboots. This reset affects:

  • IP addresses

  • User accounts

  • Configured devices

  • Acquisition data

  • General export configuration

  • The system logs

Note : System updates, however, still require physical intervention by the support team.
