Prerequisite : This feature is available for users with the View Creator role.

Access IndaView Creator and select a monitoring application.

To create a new synoptic, click on the New synoptic button.

To open an existing synoptic, click on the "Load" button.

The Save button saves the current synoptic.

When the file is saved for the first time, you can specify the location of the file.

By default, you have a simple tree structure.

For complex applications, it is recommended that you add other directories using the new folder button.

To save the current synoptic under another name, click Save as.

Open the synoptic library by clicking on the Load button.

Then select the synoptic you wish to delete and click Delete.

Note : To delete a folder, you have to delete all its synoptics first.

You can change some of the properties of your synoptic by clicking on the Synoptic properties button.

To select the background colour of your synoptic, use the Display parameter.

To manage the variables declared as parameters for animations, use the Animation parameter (an article about objects creation is available).

It is possible for you to explore the current synoptic and see all the elements it contains.

Click on the menu at the top right of the screen, then go to the Synoptic Explorer.

You can filter your search by type of elements.
