Prerequisite : This feature is available for users with a View Creator role.
Access IndaView Creator and select a monitoring application.
Select the synoptic to edit.
A set of tools is available to edit your synoptics. This article is dedicated to editing tools.
Editing tools
Zoom
This function allows you to zoom in on the synoptic currently being edited.
To adjust the zoom level, click on your profile at the top right of the screen, then click on Zoom Coefficient Setting.
Enter the zoom coefficient you need (from 10 to 400%), then confirm.
Once this setting is done, activate the feature by clicking on the zoom button.
Click on the zoom button again to go back to the normal state.
Grid
The Grid allows you to lock the mouse position to a virtual grid to simplify the alignment of graphic elements.
To activate this feature, click on
Foreground and background
This feature allows you to bring the selected objects to the foreground or background.

Geometry tools
This menu provides access to the following geometry functions :
Horizontal and vertical symmetry: allows you to create horizontal or vertical symmetry on selected objects.
Clockwise and counterclockwise rotation: enabling you to rotate the selected object.
Alignment functions
This menu allows you to access the following alignment functions :
Align to top
Align to left
Align to right
Align to bottom
Centering function
This menu provides access to the following centering functions :
Horizontal centering
Vertical centering
Global centering
These functions allow centering a group of selected objects.
Equalization function
This menu provides access to the following equalization functions:
Horizontal equalization
Vertical equalization
Global equalization
These functions allow equalizing the distance between each selected object within the synoptic.
Layer management
This menu allows the use of layers in the creation of synoptics. To simplify the design of complex synoptics, it can be beneficial to distribute graphic objects across different layers.
Note: By default, all layers are enabled and visible.
Through this menu, it is possible to disable the display of certain layers and choose a current layer for creating new objects.
In the example above, layer 4 is selected, and layers 2 & 3 are hidden.
To activate/deactivate the display of the layers, you must check/uncheck the box.
To select a layer for the creation of new objects, click on the layer you want. It will appear in bold.
