When you move your mouse over this menu, a number of buttons appear.
Note : You can move this menu around to position it where it is most convenient.
This menu allows you to perform a number of actions, which are described in this article.
Viewing the Mimic History
You can view the history of a synoptic for a specific date.
Click 'Aller à l'historique' from the drop down menu.
A period selection area will appear at the bottom of the screen :
Use the calendar button to select a date :
The values of the metrics present in the snapshot will be displayed for the selected period.
Note : When you view the snapshot for a specific date or time, the values displayed are the last values stored in the databse before that time. This means that if no data has been received at the exact time selected, the synoptic will display the closest value recorded before that time.
For example : If you select a view at 9.10am and no data has been updated at exactly that time, the synoptic will display the last value received before 9.10am. So the value shown could be the one recorded at 9 am if it is the last value stored before 9.10am.
Note : If the last stored value was more than one hour ago, no value will be displayed.
Navigating the history
There are several ways to navigate the history :
Play button : You can press the Play button to start automatic playback of the history from the selected date. This simulates the evolution of the data over time.
Note : To control the playback speed, use the boxed button below :
Forward and rewind buttons : These buttons allow you to move the selected date forward or backward at different time intervals :
Return to current time
If you want to return to the live view after viewing the history, simply click the 'Retour au direct' button in the Actions menu. This will refresh the view and show the data for the current date.
