Pool robots are essential allies when it comes to pool maintenance. Equipped with rotating brushes and internal filtration systems, they ensure efficient, thorough cleaning. Unlike manual cleaning, robots simultaneously remove and filter biofilm patches, the thin organic layers that serve as a refuge for bacteria.

For optimum maintenance, we recommend that you use your robot periodically, in addition to chemical treatments such as chlorine. Here's a practical tip: wait a few hours after your last swim before starting the robot. This gives impurities time to settle to the bottom of the pool, where they'll be easier to remove.

The importance of filtration

A high-performance filtration system is the key to clean, healthy water. In public pools, advanced technologies such as microfiltration, nanofiltration or reverse osmosis are often employed. These systems, sometimes supplemented by activated carbon treatment, effectively eliminate chemical contaminants and fine particles.

Membrane filtration, for example, requires high pressure to push water through the membranes, making it particularly energy-intensive. This high energy consumption needs to be taken into account, especially in a context where sustainability has become a priority.
