EcoTab runs solely on solar energy. If it's not charging properly, here are a few points to check:
Position in the pool: Make sure the unit is placed in an area with good exposure to the sun, without prolonged shading (trees, tarpaulins, high walls, etc.).
Dirt on the solar panel: Check that the upper surface (solar collector) is clean. Deposits or dirt can interfere with recharging. Gentle cleaning with clean water may suffice.
Exposure time: The device needs several hours of sunlight a day. If the weather is overcast for several days, recharging may be temporarily slowed down.
Also bear in mind that when you make a modification in the app, such as a change of mode, communication is not instantaneous with EcoTab. Give it 15-20 minutes to update itself.
If, despite these checks, EcoTab remains inactive or reports a malfunction via the app, contact customer service for assistance.
