Setup Process:
Follow these steps to Create & Set Up Text & Email Templates inside Tekion CRM:
Send support@autoipacket.com the disclosure form attached below.
Once you've confirmed APIs have been setup complete the remaining steps below:
Start by downloading the zip files in this Help Center doc
In Tekion, top left, select the 9 dots icon
Search "Templates"
Select Communication Templates
Select Email or Text Templates, Click New Template
In the tags, type in iPacket, iPacket, Sales department, communication type, Category
Once created, Click Import
Upload the the zip drive file saved from the Tekion Intercom page
Change verbiage of template if desired
Publish
**Repeat these steps for the text template.**
Create a test lead in Tekion to verify proper tracking:
Example: Lead Name: iPacket Test, lead email: yourname@autoipacket.com; phone: your cell phone number
Have the stock number of the vehicle of interest ready for the Admin to enter here (ensure the vehicle is active in iPacket)
Add a salesperson into the Salesperson 1 field (right side)
> now go to email the lead
Choose the book icon (Search templates) at the very bottom
> Choose the iPacket template
