Before you begin
Make sure you are signed in to both iPacket and Covideo. You should also have the customer’s contact information available if you plan to send the link directly by email.
Steps
1. Open Inventory in iPacket
Log in to iPacket.
Select Inventory from the top navigation.
Find the vehicle you want to send to the customer.
Use the search or filters on the left side of the page if needed.
2. Start sending the vehicle packet
On the vehicle card, select Send Packet.
In the send window, choose Web Link as the send method.
Search for and select the recipient, or create a new contact if needed.
Select Create Web Link.
3. Select your Covideo
Go to Covideo.
Open the video you want to send.
Select Send & Share for the video you want to use.
Select the Share tab from top of page.
4. Add the iPacket link to the Covideo landing page
On the right side of the Covideo share page, locate Landing Page.
Change the landing page option to Website Overlay.
Select Add New & Paste the iPacket web link into the Overlay URL field.
Choose the preferred Video Thumbnail option, such as Animated Snapshot.
Optional: Check Notify me when video is viewed if you want a view notification.
5. Select your Video sharing option
Choose the option you need, such as:
Copy Video URL if you only need the video link.
Copy CRM Code if you are adding the video to a CRM or another system that supports animated GIFS.
Copy Raw HTML if you need embed-style HTML.
6. Test the link
Open a new browser tab.
Paste the Covideo link into your browser and hit ENTER.
Confirm the video opens correctly.
Confirm the iPacket displays with overlaying video.
7. Send the link to the customer
You can send the final Covideo link by email, text, CRM or any other approved method of communication.
