Sending an iPacket from your dealer portal is super simple. Follow these steps to send an iPacket from your dealer portal.
Follow these steps:
1. Navigate to your Inventory Page.
2. Use the search and filter tool to locate the vehicle packet you wish to send.
3. Click on the green "Send Packet" button located on the right side of the screen.
4. Select the send method
Email - shares a packet via email to the recipient(s) that you enter (email required)
Text - shares a packet via a one-way text message to the recipient(s) that you enter (mobile number required). Customer must OPT-IN the first time
Web Link - creates a trackable link to the vehicle packet that you can copy and paste into another sharing source (such as a CRM email template)
Social Share - post the packet to your Facebook or LinkedIn
5. Search existing contacts or create a new contact.
When creating a new contact, please enter the First Name, Last Name, and Email/Mobile number if available.
Note: your CRM contacts do NOT auto-populate in iPacket. Click HERE to see our CRM integrations.
6. Customize your message to send along with your vehicle packet
We pre-load a message for you, but you can further personalize the message or make changes if you'd like! Click HERE to see how to create custom user templates.
Note: Including additional personalization can increase your open rates.
7. Customize what is included in your iPacket
Attachments (optional): You can easily add .PDF .JPEG .PNG or .GIF files from your computer to your packet share (email only) by clicking add attachment icon. You can also drag and drop files from your desktop into the packet send screen.
*To ensure your iPacket will be delivered, attachments have a maximum file size of 3MB due to spam restrictions.
CoVideo: If you have an existing CoVideo account, you can access your video library directly from the send screen. See HERE how the integration works.
Customize the Customer VDP: You can omit the vehicle price or any document from your packet share by unchecking the box next to the document.
9. Click Send Packet
