What is part-time employment
Sideline as an employee is an additional part-time job that you do alongside your main employment. It’s always part-time and comes with a separate employment contract.
Example
You work full-time at a bank and help out on weekends at a local bookstore. Your engagement at the bookstore is considered as a sideline as an employee.
Document
Your secondary employer gives you a separate salary certificate (“Lohnausweis”), showing your gross salary, social security deductions, and the net salary.
How to add it in iqtax
Enter the employment period (From/Until), workload (%), employer name, work address, and your net salary. Then attach the Lohnausweis to save the entry.
