Other deduction

Here you can enter additional deductible expenses that don’t fit into any other category. Important: Not every personal expense is automatically tax-deductible. Only enter expenses here for which you can explain why they are tax-deductible and for which you have supporting documentation.

You have a deductible expense that is not listed as a separate category in iqtax. In this case, you can enter the amount here and briefly describe what it is.

Depending on the situation, the appropriate document is an invoice, payment confirmation, certificate, or other proof showing the amount and reason for the expense.

Go to Other Deductions > Other Deductions and click “Add New.” Select “Other Deduction,” enter the relevant person, the amount in CHF, and briefly describe what the expense is for. Then upload a document as proof.
