You can enhance your courses and make them more engaging and interactive by embedding interactive HTML5 resources into your content making them a seamless part of your content.

What you need

  • A zipped folder containing your interactive

  • A secure place to host your interactive

  • A link to your index.html file

If the tool you are using has an export to HTML 5 option it will create a with all the content you need for your interactive. It may put the index.html file outside of the folder at the same level.

Zip the folder along with the index.html (it might be named the same as your project .html) file into a single file. Upload the zipped file to your hosting solution. Grab a link for your index.html file.

Embedding within iQualify

  1. Choose where you want to add your interactive in your content and click on the + button. Select Embed and then Webpage.

  2. Paste the link for your index.html file.

  3. There are two ways to control the size of your item. Either ensure the code is included in the source code of your item, or manually set the height using the boxes.  If you leave this blank it will automatically size your item.

  4. You can also add an Introduction to your item and an Attribution

5.  Click Save.  Your item will now display embedded in your content page.  There is also the option for learners to enter fullscreen to view the item.
