Authors can create in-page discussions for learners to participate in.

In-page discussions appear at the bottom of the page when enabled. Learners in the course are posed a question or discussion topic which they can answer and/or comment on others' answers.

How to add an in-page discussion to your content page

To add an in-page discussion, in a course you're an author on, go to the page where you want to enable or edit the discussion.

Then, using either the pencil beside the page title or the Page settings (page icon) in the banner beside Publish.

Toggle End of page discussion to On. And add a Discussion title and Introduction to discussion.

Scroll to the bottom of Page settings and Save.

You'll see a preview of the discussion at the bottom of your page (but you will not be able to post).
