This article walks you through the process of canceling your paid Iris subscription or deleting your account entirely. Use this guide if you wish to downgrade your plan to free or remove your account and data from Iris permanently.


Step-by-Step Guide

1. Cancel a Paid Subscription

  • Log in to your account at studio.tryiris.ai or open your Iris Studio App.

  • Click your profile icon in the upper right-hand corner.

  • Click on Billing from the menu options.

  • Click on the Studio tab at the top.

  • Under Studio, click the Billing sub-tab.

  • You will see details like Upcoming Invoice, Payment Method, Cloud Usage, and Past Invoices.

  • If you wish to wait until a specific usage point in your cloud data, continue using Iris until that time but keep careful track of your usage.

  • When ready, click Change Plan.

  • Choose to downgrade to the Free plan.

  • Confirm your plan update in the browser window that appears.

  • Once confirmed, your plan will cancel at the end of your billing cycle.

2. Delete Your Iris Account

  • Log in at studio.tryiris.ai or from within the Iris Studio App.

  • Click your profile icon in the top right corner.

  • Click on Account Settings.

  • Scroll to the bottom below your email field.

  • Click Delete Account.

  • Confirm the deletion. Note: This action is permanent and cannot be undone!


How It Works and What to Expect

  • Downgrading to the Free plan ends billing at the end of your current cycle.

  • Deleting your account removes all data permanently. You are able to sign-up with the same account credentials again at a later time after deleting your account.

  • Consider downgrading to Free if you just want to pause paid usage.

  • Use the Cloud Usage tab to monitor when it makes sense to cancel.

  • You must confirm your downgrade or deletion through browser popups.
