Don't forget to update your Repaper!

Updated over a week ago

For best performance it is important to use Repaper's latest version.

Here's how to update your tablet:

1. Connect Repaper to Repaper Studio on your computer

  • Download & install the Repaper Studio App.

  • Launch Repaper Studio.

  • Connect Repaper to your computer using the micro USB cable supplied or any USB cable that supports data transfer.

  • Switch on Repaper by pressing and holding down the Power button on the side: Front LED 1 pulses blue.

  • Repaper connects automatically to Repaper Studio: the front LED then turns solid blue, and the Repaper's name is displayed in Repaper Studio, instead of the "Connection" button:

2. Follow the steps on the screen to update your tablet

  • If a message states in Repaper Studio that a new update is available, tap the update button.

  • Follow the steps on the screen to install the latest Repaper firmware version.

💡 You can check the version of your Repaper tablet in Repaper Studio, by clicking on the Repaper's name on the top right. The Repaper version is displayed next to the firmware status.

  • A green checkmark indicates that your Repaper is updated.

  • If your Repaper's version is obsolete hit the "Update" button.

What if the update fails to install?

  • Make sure that you have a good Internet connection (💡 The error " "Failure to fetch repositories" is generally due to an issue with the Internet connection)

  • Check if your firewall is blocking the update.

What if no new update is shown in Repaper Studio although your Repaper's version is outdated?
