How to enable Instant Messaging (IM)

Enabling visitors to chat with you

The Instant Messaging (IM) feature enables you to add a chat into your virtual experiences and allow visitors to connect with you instantly. Let's look at how to set it up.

Step 1

Go to Message Management in your VR Editor and select Active IM. You can then upload a custom IM icon that will show up in the bottom right corner of every LiveTour.

Step 2

By selecting Customer Service Online you can indicate that you are online and available to chat. If you are offline, enter an automated Offline Message.

Step 3

You can enable a Chatbot by adding questions and answers to provide visitors with instant responses.

Step 4

Under Message List you can manage all chats from your LiveTours. By selecting one, it will open up the corresponding chat on the right side and you can start responding!
