Customize your iStoria experience to suit your needs!
You can adjust two different language settings in the app: the language of the app interface and the language used for translations.
Understanding the Difference
📱 Native Language (App Interface):
Changes the language of buttons, menus, titles, and instructions throughout the app.📖 Translation Language:
Changes the language into which words and sentences are translated (in stories, the vocabulary page, and the Open Library).
How to Change Your Language Preferences
The steps are simple:
Go to the Profile page.
Tap the Settings icon ⚙️ at the top corner.
Select the option you want to adjust:
Native Language: To change the app interface.
Translation Language: To change how words are translated in stories.
Select your preferred language from the list.
Tap "Continue" to save your changes.
💡 Helpful Notes
Switching to English Interface: If you select English as your Native Language, the app will automatically set your translations to English definitions for full immersion. If you prefer translations in another language (e.g., Arabic), simply go back and change the "Translation Language" separately.
Supported Languages: To see the full list of available languages for translation, check out our article: [Languages Available in iStoria].
