When a customer calls the restaurant to make a reservation, there are two ways you can do it:
The first one is from the Dashboard -> Take a reservation:
Here, you will need to add information about your client's booking, such as:
Date of reservation.
Hour.
Number of seats.
A note about the reservation, such as: the client wants a meal at the window, the client comes with a small child and needs a chair, the client is a non-smoker and so on.
The table you allocate to that reservation.
The language in which the client will receive notification of the reservation made.
The option to send a notification to the customer by e-mail and / or SMS.
Tags such as: VIP, birthday, vegetarian, gluten allergic, etc.
Also, when you add a reservation, you will need to fill in some information about that customer, if he is a new customer, such as:
His name and surname.
Email Address.
Phone number.
If your customer already exists in the database and has made reservations in the past, you can select him from the corresponding list by clicking on the field with his name.
Let's move on to the last step.
If you have activated the option by which the booking employee (e.g., waiter Alin) must be selected, click on the orange "Option" button, and select the current booking employee.
Then, click on the "Take a reservation" button.
And that's it!
Now check if your booking has been added in the "Reservations" section or in the Dashboard.
2. The second way you can take a reservation is by using the “Reservations” tab:
Here, all you must do is click on the "Take a reservation" button and follow the steps above.
