To give your clients the ability to make online payments with their credit card after signing a document, you will first have to set up your Stripe payment processing account. Stripe does charge a small fee for each transaction that is processed. Visit the link to find out more about Stripe: https://support.stripe.com/topics/getting-started
JACK can still work for your business without Stripe integration.
If you do decide to use this feature, complete the following steps to allow your clients to make online payments:
Navigate to Settings > Payment Gateway > Link Stripe Account
Once your Stripe account is active, from the Home tab in Stripe, type API keys into the Search bar at the top.
You will be provided with two keys within your Stripe account, a Publishable key and a Secret key.
Copy and paste both the Publishable key and the Secret key into the relevant field within JACK under Settings > Payment Gateway > Link Stripe Account and click Save Changes.
Your account will now be synced with your Stripe account and ready to collect deposits and other payments from your customers.
Your Publishable key will remain visible, however, the Secret key SHOULD NOT be shared with anyone and will not be visible once you save changes.
Note: You will need to add your bank details so that Stripe can deposit payments into your bank account.
