Navigate to the relevant Estimate and choose the Takeoffs tab. Click to add your plans/drawings.

Once your plan is uploaded:

  • You can navigate to other pages by clicking on the page drop-down box on the right.

  • Then click on the three dots to rename and delete pages that are not required.

To Set the scale you can either choose a pre-set scale from the drop-down menu or use the Draw a line feature.

To set a custom scale:

  • Choose the Draw a Line button.

  • Use the + and - to zoom in and out. Or the keyboard shortcut Hold space bar + mouse scroll wheel. Locate a known measurement and click on the beginning point then the end point to draw a line.

  • Enter the Feet and Inches in the menu at the top. Then choose Set Scale.

Once applied, the scale will appear in the bottom-right corner next to the ruler icon.

To bulk apply your scale, click the ⋮ button next to the Scale bar. Choose Copy Scale to Pages, then select the pages you want to apply it to. If needed, you can correct any mistakes by selecting Edit Scale from the same menu.

💡Use the icon to change the opacity of a plan. These changes can differ from page to page and will be saved even if you exit the takeoff menu.
